A: No nothing need just boot :) and you can acess to your drive via /dev/hdg or /dev/hdh (not sure if there is others), the modules are compiled in the kernel so it's should be ok. If you can't install lilo due of the fence of >=1024 cylindres install the new lilo of cooker and add the line : lba32 in your /etc/lilo.conf
