You need to have the source files in there to make it work.  If you're
currently using the Mandrake version of the 2.2.14 kernel and you want to
just recompile, you need to get a copy of that source.  If you want to
compile the latest kernel, you can go to the Mandrake Cooker site and get
the latest source - kernel-2.2.15-0.17mdk.i586.rpm (I believe that's the
latest kernel, and you'll need the source rpm)
