I already have MDK 7.02 installed, and was wanting to try out FreeBSD, I would
like to know if there are any known conflicts/problems with running BOTH OS's
on one 13 GB drive?
The main reason for this is because I have read it is easier to setup a home
network, I have tried with MDK and so far not achieved my cable modem sharing
or the network...:(
But if someone wants to make a point form TXT file (containing the click here,
add this, click there, check that, etc...) for me, on setting up this freaking
thing, I would happily stay with MDK. I have read IPchains/masq, Samba,
networking, and a few other HOWTO's, and it has left me more confused, than
when I started. I think where I am stumped now is the broadcasting (because
the sever light is _NOT_ flashing on the hub) from the second NIC in my Linux
box?
Opinons?
