Have you checked you hardware against the hardware list?????
I was one of those lucky enough (with planning) to have a
click click near perfect install....

I can't do that anymore. :-)
Seriously, I have found it much more stable. Much harder to configure, usually,
but,
once it's set up it does not crash.
