I make clock faces out of AOL and MSN CDs I have received in the mail, they make lovely parting gifts for ITs and other geeks or geek wannabe's like me. But coasters are good! How do you plug the hole so condensation does'nt get through to the wood finish?

While we're on the subject, and this is only my experience and
opinion

I don't have near fast enough connection to d/l, specially 1.2
gigs of 7.1.  I do have a burner tho.   I've always bought linux
CD's from cheapbytes.com.  But with 6.1 and again with 7.0, the
cd's were poor quality.  No problems I couln't work around, but not
up to par.  So I bought 7.1 from LinuxLand because I heard ahead of
time that they were good quality, and from masters obtained
directly from Mdk, not a burn of the d/l iso's.  I wasn't
disappointed.  Very high quality cdr's, rather than production cd's.
Full 2.5 gig install went without one hitch.

I don't mean this as a plug for LL, or a slap at Cheapbytes, but
I do believe it's important that when we experience install
problems, we should also state where or what we're tryin to install
from, no?

   I gotta Plextor 8432, hasn't made a coaster yet  :^p    doesn't
matter tho, I've got a sh!+load of AoL & MSN cd's they mail me ;->
