As far as I know, it is not accurate to say that there
is not an issue with 1024 cyl and LBA mode disks.  I
have 2 (8.4 gig and 17.2 gig) drives both in LBA mode
and both had issues with either LILO or bootmagic and
the 1024 cyl thing at one time or another.

As far as I have read, there is also a new version of
LILO that does not have the 1024 cyl limitation.  But
I read that on slashdot.....who knows if its true ;-)
