I recently experimented with Genome. The open applications should be in the 
taskbar at the bottom, on the right side. I had problems with the screen 
saver too. No matter which one I choose of Genome's, it will only run the 
'Random' one. Only way I could run the one I wanted was to use the preview 
button within 'Settings' for that screen saver. It was especially 
frustrating because Genome has much better screen savers!
