I just wanted to waste some bandwidth *haha* and say that this is one of the "most
truest" things I've read on this list yet. I also thing HTML e-mail is a waste of
little "ones and zeros". The latest is not the greatest..... but back to Linux --

Another thing: look where we are. We are at a newbie mailing list. Newbies
generally don't know about how to print words in *bold* or
_italics/underline_ using normal ASCII. People that are new to computers
generally tend to think that everyone should be using the latest and
greatest version of everything. Or at least that's my observation. And you
hardly see that kind of a discussion on more advanced mailinglists.
And yes, band width is *EXPENSIVE*, maybe not in the US, but the US isn't
the center of the world. It's just one of the many countries on the earth,
you know.
