rrrrrrrg. I feel your pain. I've got a .pdf of a
book called "installing and optimizing linux" that I
downloaded from the LDP home page. I cannot get
either acrobat or xpdf to read it in linux but I can
read it in windows where it doesn't do me any good.
This is especially weird because xpdf appears to work
beautifully for every other .pdf I've ever found....
I'll give it a try again tomorrow oon my day off and
if I have any luck I'll get back to you.
