I forgot to mention until I recieve an email that while mandrake
autodetected the linksys card it wouldn't work with DHCP.  I had to get
another motherboard for it to be finally successful.  It seems that all the
stars must align just so concerning the motherboard and hardware before
linux will behave correctly.  I had the same problem with this motherboard
and the CDROM. (fyi, it was a Gigabyte board)...
