I'm using 2.0.4 which I have come to like quite a lot.
It was quite a transistion from Managing Your Money to 
Moneydance, but I have become accustomed to the 
differences.  I don't know what the transistion was
like for Quicken users.

Moneydance 3.0 alpha build 141 is out, but I wouldn't
recommend it for an intro.  It has added some features
and is incorporating the Portfolio Tracking and on=line
updates.
