Well, it looks like the SCSI problem I was having is fixed - but it is
unrelated to the "error loading ramdisk" message I get.
I am going to try to re-download the ISO - mayby I got it from a bad source?
I have tried all types of install.  From the CD (boot from CD or boot from
floppy) and I have tried copying everything to the HD and boot from there.
Same message.
I too had little problems getting 7.0 to install - so I figure it must be
something funny with the 7.1 ISO.  I am hoping that the one site I chose to
download the ISO from had a buggy version.

It'll take me a few days before I can try a new ISO - I'll try to report
back.

Let me know if anyone figures this one out!
