I've come across an old Compaq 'Contura 410c' Laptop which is a 486-DX2-50
/ 8 Mb RAM / 2 GB HDD / 1.44 MB FDD / Color VGA (No CDROM). I desperately
want to use it to do more that just playing pacman under DOS.
I got myself a parallel port external CD case, from which I want to perform
a LM installation. I've heard that the boot disk image for installing RH
from parallel port CD is different from what is included in the
distribution. Is this the same case with the LM install, and if is, where
would I find such an .img.
I've just downloaded the 'mandrake70-2_i486.iso' image and put it onto a
CD. Is there anything else that I should keep in mind / know about before
starting the install.

Any pointers / help/ suggestions are most welcome.

FYI: I am currently running LM 7.1 on my AMD K6-450 / 144 MB / 13.2 GB
HDD..... and it works like a breeze.

Ashley Moore.
