Ashley,
I would be very, VERY surprised if you were able to get Mandrake 7.0-7.1
installed on that laptop. That is old equipment and I would venture to say
that most, if all the hardware in that machine is not at all supported by
these two distributions. About the only thing you might get running on
there is Windows 9x.
