[newbie] Network problems

Hi,

I'm having problems getting my PC connected to my local network. I have a
3com 3c905b-TX NIC, and I have entered my IP and subnet mask, but no luck.
I'm not sure what I should enter for my Host name + domain, and the Primary
name + domain when I run linuxconf.  Will I be able to connect to the
internet through internet connection sharing with linux mandrake?
