When I got their service last March, you had to provide your own NIC, but
it included the modem and installation of modem (although they really
didn't have to do anything, just run the line from my phone jack to the
PC). That special offering was not on their website - when I called the
sales number was told about that. Yes, I use linux, and from my
perspective, there was nothing different with setting up DSL access via
Linux as Windows - the DSL modem is external, and hooks into an Ethernet
card in my machine. So, I set it up as if I am on a LAN. The Flashcom
requirements say they need a generic "operating system". I pay $45 a month
for 2 static IP addresses, with access speed of 416/208, as well as using
them as my ISP and email.

They didn't have tosetup anything - they gave me all the IP addresses I
needed (mine, DSN, gateway) and that was it. It may be different for web
hosting - I'm not doing that, although I am thinking about it.
