Dear All,
Thank you for your help. I read up on partitions and fdisk in my books
and on the list archive. I finally decided to just put in my Windows 95
boot disk and do a fdisk/mbr. After that I rebooted and tried to
reinstall 7.2. The Cd just would not initialize so I took out the 7.2
boot disk and Cd and voila my 7.2 booted up with networking all setup.
All I had to do was fill in the blanks for Netscape and I was back on
cable.
I have not checked out my zip or CD which were not working well before.
I have not configured sound yet which was working before, I do have the
configuration files for that printed out.:)
I would like to understand this better. Why did the fdisk/mbr make the
difference? Thanks for your help.
Sincerely, Marcia
