Could anyone suggest a way to resolve this problem.
I am trying to synchronise my Palm III with kpilot and korganiser. For
some reason when I hit synchronise on the cradle no information passes
between it and the computer. I know it is not a hardware fault because
it works under Windoze and I have tried to create a symbolic link named
pilot pointing to ttys1, use ttys1 and enable read and write access
using chmod 666 /dev/__ where __ is pilot or ttys1. None of this has
worked. Does anyone have any suggestions and can anyone tell me how to
get linux to recognise COM2/ttys1? I don't think linux recognises the
serial port at the moment as it doesn't show up in Hardware
Configuration?
Any help as always would be much appreciated.
