Eunice:

First, thanks for responding! Actually, I can boot the system and
everything runs fine except I can't access her CD-ROM (trying to install
Mozilla off of the Mandrake 7.2 CDs). What I think happened was this:

I tried to install a CD-Burner in her machine, and in doing so I
followed the instructions on Mandrake's site for setting up a burner
properly (same thing I did on my machine). Well, come to find out the
burner wasn't working properly so I took it out. I think this is what I
did to put myself in a world of hurt with my blushing bride. :) Since
you inquired, is there a way to rectify this situation without
reinstalling? Reconfiguring the fstab? Maybe? Here's to hoping!

If not, I will go ahead with the reinstall, confident that Mandrake will
take care of WinME as it should.

Thanks,

Riker
