Hi, it is telling you that you have a modem connected to ttyS1(com2 in 
windows) and that all have permissions to use it. If you set up KPPP in KDE 
go to device and leave it at /dev/modem because that already is linked to 
ttyS1, you should be in good shape to get connected by adding your ISP  IP 
addresses ,  user name ,   password, and some odd other pieces of info that 
are nearly self explanatory.  Come back if you need further help. Good luck,
