A fee is paid to Microsoft for testing the driver with windows and a seal is received thereafter which the manufacturer can affix to the package of his product. Some manufacturers write their own drivers and do not pay the fee or affix the sticker. On Microsoft's web site you will find those "third-party drivers" listred as a cause of crashes. Civileme
