I wonder if anyone can help!
I have logged on to the net but when I try and use kmail to check/retrieve
my email nothing happens. There's definitely mail on the server waiting!
I have added an incoming account. I presumed the correct type to add was
"pop3" rather than "local mailbox". Then I configured the account with my
name, login, password. However I don't know what to put in "host" or "port".
Any ideas. I have presumed that "name" can be anything I want and that the
crucial items are login and password.
Also on the sending side (if I ever get there!!!). Should I use "sendmail"
or SMTP?
On windoze I used to use SMTP but don't want to assume?
Any help would be gratefully received.
