Folks, Have a 4MB Matrox Mystique and an IIyama Vision Master 350 monitor. Configuring X is driving me up the wall! I'm assuming this is a refresh rate/frequency issue. Choosing the monitor from within DrakConf doesn't give me an exact choice, so I've tried entering the horizontal and vertical frequencies into the Custom option, but the wavy lines remain. They are present in both 800x600 and in 1024x768 (slightly worse in this mode). What is the _easiest_ way to correctly setup X' so that it has the correct values for both the card and the monitor, and comes up in 800x600 at 85Hz by default? Or, are my wavy lines a symptom of something entirely different, and am I barking up the wrong tree here?
