->to see about Kicq.  The next thing I knew when I browsed through the bin 
->directory and there is was kicq.  How weird,  after all this time I never had 
->a clue that kicq was already installed.  I just dont understand why isnt it

I have found licq things there but nothing for kicq at all.
would it  be somewhere else besides /usr/bin ??
(I did a find from a command shell and didn't find it
in the /usr at all anywhere)

still stumped. :(
