Yes...deleting the SO folders is one way of doing it and usually that is
ok, but if you're not familiar with your filesystem this can be a
difficult task. There should be a menu item in the KDE Start menu for Star
Office. You should have a menu item named Star Office Setup. That will
also allow you to uninstall the program as well as repair an existing
installation.
