Is your 7.2 still a stock install or have you done some tinkering and
upgrading? The reason I ask is that librpmio.so.0 is an RPM4 base package
and is not usable much less necessary on a stock 7.2 system.
As to your question if you are running rpm4 you can use glib for RH7.
What if any other depends it may require you will only know when you try the
install.
I am running a more or less stock 7.2 Powerpack, and other than the 1st
attempt with Zope, Mandrake Update has worked without a hitch for all
packages.
