Actually I believe your problem is not Mandrake, but that lin4win. That is
not a mandrake producted app, it is licensed (if my info is correct). The
fact is that it rarely works. I thought I would try it once upon a time in a
land far.... but it wouldn't even boot. If you want to be fair do a
real/full install, dual boot it and keep win too. I've read so many people
complaining about it here and in various ngs. It's hard enough to figure
what's up with Linux half the time without having to bring a whole 'nuther OS
into it. So if you want to try another distro: try Mandrake.
