Ok I've attempted to reinstall the operating system and heres what happens:
the installer begins unpacking the print pro seiko package and then crashes
out immediately after with about 3-4 minutes left in the installation.
it gives me two errors:
An error occurred
ldconfig failed
An error occurred
no hdlists found
it then dumps me back to the partitioning section of the installer. I looked
at my partitions and the partitions had been changed
what used to be the root partition (/) had become /mnt
so instead of having partitions in this order:
/, swap, /usr, /home
I now had:
/mnt, /swap, /usr, /home
after fixing the partitions back to the way I wanted them and clicking done
it told me i would have to reboot before the changes took effect or
something like that
Again im using a Micron Millenia P2 450 with 384 megs of ram. im trying to
install linux mandrake 7.2 powerpack deluxe as a full installation (all
packages possible in the individual package selection screen) and im
attempting to install it on hdb (10gb western digital drive)
Please help!
