Hi, I'm a newbie too but I have had problems installing from a CD (Win95 installation). After many hours wasted, I came to the conclsion that the CD ROM was broken. If you can, I suggeste your conform that the CD, CD ROM, IDE or disk are operational. Try installing NT 4 for example. The installation will check the transfer and any errors will be flagged.
