For starters, you could be a little more apologetic and have explained
your position, rather than trying to make into a "list" problem,
especially in light of the fact you are apparently on this list for
help;-) How does it go..."You can catch more flies with sugar than with
sh*t...."Don't bite the hand that feeds you" etc. etc.
While legally it may not be considered SPAM, it can still be annoying.
You could sign up for a separate email account as one possibility.
There are many free services out there and it wouldn't cost you a dime.
Of course, I guess it is easier to have hundreds of people set up a
filter to accomodate your choice of using your existing acount;-)
