Does not work, I already tried:

After partitioning in the LM 7.1 install, I restarted the 7.2 and there was 
nothing in either fdisk or diskdrake; went back to 7.1 and all the partitions 
I had created before were there    ;-(

I'm begining to feel a lack of gruntleness....
