Raj,

It depends upon your Linux setup. If you have the automount daemon running, 
then your removable drives will mount whenever you insert a disk. Accessing 
the disk then becomes a matter of opening the konqueror file manager and 
navigating to /mnt/floppy or whatever. If you do not have automount 
enabled, then you need to use the mount command. 'man mount' for more info.
