Hello everyone,
I have a problem that I think is pretty common with LM
8.0. I can't seem to get my video card to work with
it. The message displayed when I try to run anything
using Mesa-3D is:
GLUT: Fatal Error in gears: OpenGL GLX extension not
supported by display: :0.0

My card uses the TNT2 chipset, and I've tried
installing the driver posted on MandrakeUser's site,
as well as the Mandrake 7.2 GLX driver. I've also
changed my /etc/X11/XF86Config-4 file so that Driver
"nv" now reads Driver "nvidia", and Load "glx" appears
below Load "dbe". Is there anything I'm missing? I'm
sure I'm overlooking something small, and if anyone
can help me out, I'd be really appreciative. By the
way, thanks to everyone who helped me set up my
ActionTec modem under LM 8.0 (guess which OS I'm using
to post this message with!).
