Hello List,
I decided last night that i would have a go at building my own kernel,
unfortunatly i hit a few problems before i could get started.
I got the kernel tarball (2.4.3) and un-tarred it.
I then give the command 'make mrproper' which goes ok.
The howto then tells me to type either make config, make menuconfig or
make xconfig. menuconfig didnt work because i didnt have Ncurses and its
development libraries installed, i have installed these and that works
fine now, but i woudl really like to use the xconfig util.
When i run xconfig it comes up with the following error.
Make: wish: command not found
Does anyone know what this is, or where i would find this item?
I am running a single cd intallation of Mandrake 8.0.
