I have been trying to install a simple home network first in Linux
Mandrake 7.0 (last year) and now in 8.0 but I can't find the proper
instructions.Eventually the network should connect two PC in Windows to
the present one in Linux , but I have meanwhile installed Linux also on
a second PC for what I hoped more successful trials.
Can anybody give me a hint? Books to read , downloads of articles?
Network in Windows (both ME and Win 2k) works OK. I am using analogx for
Internet /intranet connection and have no problem.Though I have some
experience in programming in DOS ,Basics, Dbase, Clipper etc:) my
knowledge of Linux are still at the newbie level.
I have been looking around but, so far, I have only seen a lot of
different problems and suggestions, which added to an already existing
confusion in my mind.
Could anybody help? I do love the Penguin and would get away from M$,
if I can!-and I am trying hard ....er!
