Nor do I. Tho I've used Linux full time for years, I still dual
boot Windoze to fly airplanes :) There's no good reason to throw away
Windoze, once Billy's already stuck you for it. Just do yourself a
favor and never use Winblows to connect to the Net, and shun
Win-hardware.
So, back to your winmodem. Get rid of it. Stick it in the
microwave and watch it toast. Give it to an enemy.
Your winmodem is not supported by Linux or any other OS, including
Windoze. You're begging more problems than it's worth. As far as the
