ehm -no, i am using a 512 kbit adsl line - so that should be no prob.

hmmm - it doenst look like that - its simply frozen....

well - i dont have to wait that long - because it tells me that it cant 
download the packages after about 2-3 mins....
the grey window i spoke before comes up when i initially start the 
application -not the download.....
