Hmmm try rm -r ~/.kde -f then startx The safe way to start window managers from the console is probably Xtart. There is a bug in the current one, and I am not sure Xtart-1.1 has made it to mirrors so download at http://www.civileme.net/Xtart-1.1-6mdk.i586.rpm Then install with rpm -Uvh Xtart-1.1-6mdk.i586.rpm Civileme >
