I have no answers, except a word of encouragement. I, too, had that problem. After installing Q3, I used MenuDrak to add it. But after many attempts, it still didn't show up.
Two days later, I opened my menu, and there it was--no idea why. It may require a logout/login to a window manager, or perhaps a whole reboot. (both of which I did before finding the missing menu entry). So, maybe it will show up later when you don't expect it :-) Miark (Well wudda ya want from me? A rrrrruber biscuit?!)
