Hi,

The other day when I booted up my Mandrake 10.1 installation I noticed the
screen was doing something peculiar. If I move my mouse to the right side
of the screen, the left side of the screen scrolls out of view. Anybody
know how to stop this from happening?

Sounds like a screen resolution set to large, try dropping down a setting, depending on what it is. You can do it in MCC

To clarify this somewhat - you can set the virtual sire of your desktop to a larger size then your screen resolution. Moving the mouse to the edge of the screen (and trying to move it off the screen) will cause the screen to shift. If you want, you can have a desktop that is several times the size of the screen. There are also setting for how far the desktop moves, and how far you have to try and move the mouse before the desktop shifts.

I have used this in the past with Window managers like Black Box, and and with low resolution screens. It can be handy, or a real pain, depending on how you set it up. (Browser windows that are larger then the screen are a pain...)
