Absolutely no problems with Linux. All the relevant software in my satellite
modem is internal to the modem itself (and updates itself automatically). My
router just sees it as another ethernet device. Configuration is done via
your web browser (also acts as a single port DHCP server, if you want to hook
your computer directly to the modem.)
