After some hair pulling and computer threatening I had a look at the 
official tree sources and bingo,  they sure are different than the 
easy urpmi sources.  So I added the official tree back and all is well 
again.  Strange part is,  I have noticed the official tree still says 
devel while the urpmi source says official.  I hope this is the right 
sources I am using as I have two more computers to do.
