I did not set up a domain name. I did not really setup any of this manually. It was done at install. What changes should I make and where? The 192.168.4.1 is the router that is connected to the dsl modem. Should I edit resolv.conf and if so what values? If I do the Mandrake Control Panel (internet Connection) what should I put for the name, and dns servers which all say optional?
I appreciate the responses. Each one helps me understand more of what's going on. Thanks! -- Christopher Taylor - Registered Linux User #383327 If this message is sent to a mailing list please 'Reply to List' or re-write the To field. This will save on a lot of duplicate emails going out.
