xset lets me play around with the double-speed threshold on the mouse under X. That's okay, but my old Logitech mouse driver under DOS or Windows 3.1 had a "ballistic" function, where the cursor speed was *proportional* to the mouse speed, instead of slow/fast.

I've missed the ballistic movement under later versions of Windows, and under X on Linux. Now that I'm running dual monitors with Xinerama, I *really* miss it.

Is there any way to get ballistic movement with X?
