I am not sure what you want to do. But you can make a boot cd to repair also. # /sbin/mkrescue --iso # cdrecord -v dev=/dev/hdc rescue.iso dev=(where ever your burner is mine was hdc) It has bailed me out a couple times. It uses the default image in your lilo.conf. # man mkrescue for more info. Mike
