If not do you have a seperate partition for /home? If so you can do a clean install using the existing partitions and do not put a x for reformat of /home. All of your personal stuff in home will be saved but you will have to go back and do all of the online security upgrades and bugfixes etc. Also first do a urpmi usb and see what it gives you.
