[newbie] Drag & Drop CD Burn

Wanting to keep things simple, I have tried to save files onto CD & DVD 
by dragging the file icon onto the cdrom window.
Get a message " Konqueror could not write to /mnt/cdrom/filename
The burner is a Pioneer DVD 109.
