Frank, why not just get an external USB hard drive? They come cheap
these days, about $100 for 160 GB. Copy your /home and stuff onto
that drive and use it in combination with a liveCD like Knoppix or
MDKMove. You can e-mail files back and forth to your home PC if
needed, provided somone at that end knows how to use e-mail. I
travel a lot and have found this method quite useful.

Problem is that there will be no-one here. I know I can go the web mail
way but staying with Linux, I thought I would actually get on with using it.
