I had a dual floppy system with 2 nics - I remember having to buy a splitter for my floppy power supply cable in order to install a second floppy drive. Something else which I didn't see you mentioned is to google for LRP - Linux Router Project. It has taken many turns along the way, but I am sure something out there will work for you. BTW, I do remember using DHCP with Dachstein. It wouldn't work all the time because our ISP liked to move their servers around back then, and if your connection to their DHCP servers was more than 15 (forget the actual number) hops away, it would time out or something. But most of the time it was up and running. HTH Steve
