Hi Rick,

That is interesting, I have never heard of thread hijacking, but never-the-less obviously felt that this was jumping to a new topic entirely, hence the new subject line. I'll be sure to watch that in the future for you though.

Yeah, it sure is weird that they would use that bizarre image. It really does damage what I am trying to do by spreading Linux around like Jonny Appleseed. Perhaps they have had enough feedback on this to change it for the September release?

It would be like me painstakingly faceting a flawless emerald (I am a professional gem cutter / faceting is a type of gem cutting) and then having a jeweler mount it in plastic. Follow me?

Best wishes,

Paul

Paul, please don't hijack threads, meaning, replying to a post and
changing the Subject line, it corrupts threading in the archives,
thx

Anyway, I do not mean to start a controversial thread here, and I do believe that I am representing what most people already think - I was just hoping that perhaps some developer might monitor this channel and take some action or at least report back to home base on this.

Many thanks for the time slightly off topic, Paul.

IIRC, during the community testing and release candidates,
the cookers were saying the same thing. Turned out to be a Marketing
decision.. If your interested, search the cooker archive for "Drunken Penguin" ...

But IMHO, it looks like a beach ball, of a drunken penguin ;)
